Ce Slogan prometteur se décline depuis plus d’une décennie dans les médias, sur les scènes urbaines et dancefloors du monde entier…

Forts de cet adage, Franck Biyong & Massak (Cameroun) se sont progressivement imposés comme la formation la plus singulière de cette scène Africaine en mouvement, résolument tournée vers l’avenir, novatrice et mêlant simultanément les influences des musiques urbaines et traditionnelles

Naviguant entre un Afrobeat revendicateur teinté d’une joyeuse indignation, le Jazz électrique des années 70, le rock déjanté de Zappa ou la transe funky de Parliament-Funkadelic, cette formation parisienne d’adoption a su créer l’évènement concert après concert en développant le concept « d’opéra moderne africain »…Le nombre de fidèles de cette grande messe de « l’Afrolectric Music » n’a jamais cessé de grandir depuis lors…

Leur nouvel « VISIONS OF KAMERUN », composé et enregistré à Yaoundé au Cameroun, est l’aboutissement de cette démarche de mise en lumière des richesses et trésors culturels issus du berceau de l’humanité, inspiré par les légendes qui y vivent toujours cachées…

Ce nouveau spectacle s’annonce comme l’évènement majeur de cette rentrée musicale, un hommage aux pères fondateurs de la pensée Africaine libre et indépendante et l’ouverture d’un nouveau dialogue créatif et constructif (50 ans déjà…) entre le continent Noir et le reste du monde…La musique Africaine du 21 ème siècle…

Mem Nahadr is a multi-talented performing artist and very Exotic. I am honored to listen to her sound and see her perform. She feels her music, and it is music. We need to see more of her.

I am very surprised that Oprah has not featured Mem. Did I miss her introduction in Ebony and Essence Magazines?

I believe she can fill stadiums. I would prefer to think of her as having loyal supporters or fans than cult followers.

Mem is Mem or M. She is personable.
